For more than a half-century, Midwest Library Service has been defined by its superior service, exclusively provided to academic and public libraries. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers with a comprehensive range of products and services, including books supplied from more than 20,000 U.S., Canadian, and U.K. publishers, and an out-of-print book service.
To properly serve our customers, we use a team approach, in lieu of the more typical pool system. Each customer is assigned three direct contacts: a library service representative, a standing order representative, and a sales representative. These three individuals are personally responsible for supervising, facilitating, and monitoring each customer's orders.
Working with Midwest Library Service results in far fewer cancelled orders. Customers can expect a commitment to fulfilling the entire order. We won't selectively choose to send only the easily obtained books, canceling the remainder of the order (often weeks later). We follow your order cancellation policy, substantially reducing the time and effort you would otherwise expend reordering books.
